Do you know: Right-Click

Don’t let someone tell you that Macs can’t do right-click.  Macs have been doing right-click since the mid-late 90s.  Just plug in that multi-button mouse and off you go.

MacBooks (all current variants) can do right-click in a multitude of ways.

  • Hold down control while clicking the trackpad (also works with mice).
  • Click with two fingers on the trackpad (older MacBooks with a separate button need two fingers on the trackpad while clicking the button)
  • Setting up the lower right zone (or lower left for lefties) to be the right-click.

Trackpad and mouse settings can be changed by going to System Preferences > Mouse (or Trackpad – yes, they are separate preferences).
